The only useful question

  1. The only useful question:

    my

    search

    for better clarity

    1. I’m spit balling because I happened on a question I could not so easily dispatch, strike, or dismiss.

    2. I’m trying to make a simple formula for shortening the word soup that currently translates my goals to me, to a way best understood by most. Not the backstage mess of tangled cords that serves for my current logic tree.

    3. So I’m brainstorming a strategy. I want to help bring the greatest number of people i can to a higher level of protection from financial insecurity, and relieve the acompanying stress that insecurity brings. And i need to know how i can acheive my goal most rapidly. My first inclination is to build a financial juggernaut to fund my ambition.

    4. Ok, I’m not off to the entrepreneur races just yet. And unlike founders of major companies, like say a coffee experience company, my personal ambition takes a back seat to my societal ambitions. I want to build strength and stability in areas of highest poverty per capita.

    5. But that merely scratches the surface. I intend to turn those self same areas into economic power houses for those counties. Again, targeting serving the poorest communities within those counties.

    6. Also, I want to raise standards of living to equal or greater to{>}the previous benchmark for the top{^50%}fiftieth percentile of the state-wide living standard.

    7. Now circling back to the question...How to get to that point? It will depend entirely upon strategy. And this strategy involves near equal parts capital(this is me making a large $dollar$ cash investment), and education.

    8. By education I mean not only my own, but also (critical to the success of this goal) the education of many others.

    9. Not withstanding Kentuckian wisdom regarding the educational merits of mule kicks, I don’t recommend trying to teach one by dragging it to it’s education. Unless I intend using the bluntest of tools (reverse psychology) to achieve results opposite to the ones clearly communicated.

    10. And so if I seek to indoctrinate anyone to my way of thinking.. it is to seek like minded people who feel as I do; that there is a better way for society to function. Where people can be much happier and feel much less anxious. And that this can be achieved only through better societal cooperation.

    11. I don’t want weird oppressive covenants. I don’t want a cultish devotion to a cause. I want people who feel at times introverted and at times extroverted to be able to express themselves whichever way they currently feel happiest doing. But I want them all to to feel a part of a safe community.

    12. I want to educate through art. I want to focus on art with a high degree of daily practicality. Creating useful and beautiful things to appreciate at least once a week, and preferably every day. I want to first teach myself, then extend the education to others. I want to charge similar or lower fees to other classes in my close geographical vicinity.

    13. All fees will be in service to paying for and improving, art and craft infrastructure. I can well afford my bills currently, so extra income from classes is best spent improving and fortifying equipment and enhancing efficiency of teaching tools at my disposal. This buildup of professional quality equipment will greatly expand interest IMO.

    14. I want to focus on ceramics and sketching to start. My intention is not to be the [only] teacher. If I step this process up gradually and develop a small gallery, I can use sales to pay for remodeling needed to tempt a resident artist to come and teach a workshop. (1-Example)

    15. The idea is to eventually rent rooms to artists that want to pay reasonably priced class fees and reduced artist rates for extended stays, to take multi-day courses taught by a master artists in various art/crafts. Other classes to be offered to public once a week.

    16. I could expound on that all day, so instead I’ll pivot to the next stage of my plan following the wild future success of that last aforementioned step, culminating in a dumptruck full of cash no doubt. I promise I’m leaving a lot out for the sake of brevity.

    17. What then to do with all this money? Simple. I just petition the city to help me re-zone a large property, and allow me to convert it into a free and low cost community center.

    18. (You got through all that? You should be commended!). The community center will be focused on providing free and low cost art and craft classes. Also a tool library where artisans, mavens, and skilled craftsmen will teach others in there use.

    19. I will also place a large emphasis on teaching the genesis of ICUNIR1( icunir1.com ). The system I used to build it and the overarching reasons behind my goals.

    20. ICUNIR1 is about improving life by incentivizing social cooperation, and building a large consensus of like minded people. All committed to improving the quality and security of life worldwide, and dedicated to the insurance of that security long term.

    21. I don’t have all the details conceived, but this is the first rough draft of a plan that pulls most of the disparate threads of my ambitions into some semblance of a coherent plotted outline.

    22. Only the future will judge how closely I will have managed to hew(adhere) to my current goals. And the future is never likely to run consistently parallel to my ambitions. But even so, I would be eternally delighted to accomplish even a sizable fraction of what I hope to accomplish.

    23. This processing of my thoughts out loud in my head, is always cathartic for me. Only you can decide if it makes sense for you however. The future I propose involves convincing a large number of people to take the time to consider, and ultimately agree with much of what you’ve just read.

    24. I hope in time to become a teacher worthy of convincing others to combine their efforts with mine to achieve a higher standard of human achievement and happiness. With this as my guiding star I know my life will be a success no matter my public achievements.

    25. Legacy is an oleaginous (oily/slimy) sounding word to my ear. Maybe because I question the motivations behind many a rich persons gifts. Also I question the need to be remembered after I’m gone. Instead I want people to remember to learn and grow and help each other in some part because of what I helped them to learn to achieve.

    26. I created the name(ICUNIR1) for my company in part so that [my name] would not have to be in top billing forever. Also people can’t seem to spell or pronounce my name, so there’s that. And, I want to ‘have’ to explain what ICUNIR1 means, should anyone ever ask me. ‘It’ means, we are all connected in a way we can’t run from. All that effects you has some effect on me, no matter how small or large that effect ultimately is, and Vice versa.

    27. We are all like different cells in the same body. And sometimes like opposite sides of the same coin. But in my opinion, if we don’t pull together, humans are not going to survive as a species long term. ICUNIR1 is about securing a better more secure future for all.

    28. And just as a last selfish note let me say that the success of the marginalized in society will lift economic burden for all taxpayers. And so, the success of the poor redounds(greatly contributes) to the benefit of us all, myself Included. And I for one have never begrudged a benefit at the expense of none.😉
